NES were subcontracted to manufacture the internal spanrel panels at the PWC head quarters at Embankment House, London.

These had a few interteresting features;

Firstly they were perforated to improve the acounstic performance of the large central atruim.

Secondly they were used as structural supports for the office partitioning glass both above and below.

This meant each cladding panel weighed over 500 kgs!

The performance of these modular units had to be extremely high from a structural perspective.

The design had to be in very close partnership with the office partitioning provider to ensure everything fitted seamlessly.

The finish had to be flawless to be approved by the architect.

Finally the project needed to be delivered on a timescale partly driven by the importance of this central flagship location for the end user.
