Huawei Dublin

Huawei were looking for a cutting edge, robust and high impact reception feacture for their new Dublin research centre.
NES were instructed for a design, manufacture and installation of these LED Light Frame glass back lit units.
Specifically the architect and client were keen to ensure they achieved a look that was:
1) Even illumination
2) Quality of illumination. The client was able to choose the colour temperature from 3,000, 4,000 or 6,000k. The LEDs were also binned to within 3 MacAdam Ellipses. CRI90+. Efficiency: 130 Lumens per watt . LM-80 Tested at 55°C for 6,000 hours: Calculated L70 for
62,000 hours at 60mA is 97.94%.
3) Easy maintenance, long life
4) Low site risk during the installation. The pre-manifactured boxes were made to a tight tollerance. This had the effect of making site works much faster. The amount of preperation work needed on site was limited to supplying a strucuturally sound wall and ceiling grid.
